Evening on the Lake Fork

After a couple of full days in a row on the river, I made it out for another evening of fishing.  Despite some steady rain, I landed 20 fish, including a nice cutthroat that measured just over 18 inches.


Sunny and raining.  The rain set off a big hatch of PMDs (pale morning duns).

It cleared up in the evening, but the hatch kept going, and the fish kept biting.

This 18+ inch cutthroat sipped a PMD off the surface.
